Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church

Mission:
Working together, parents, faculty, and the parish community promote academic excellence, the teaching of Christian values, and spiritual growth for the total development of each child. We strive to remain mindful that each child is an independent person with his or her own feelings, hopes, goals, and personal needs. Our goal is to prepare students for future academic success, responsible adulthood, and most importantly, commitment to their Catholic faith.
History:
Blessed Sacrament Parish was founded in 2006.  A merging process brought the West End parishes into one parish family.  Those parishes participating were:  Saint Boniface, Saint Mary’s, All Saints, Saint John the Baptist and Saint Rose of Lima.  Currently there are 750 families.
Highlights:
We are a Stewardship parish.  We have an active program for the Junior and Senior High students on a weekly basis.  We are in the process of extending our Gathering Area in the Church to accommodate the growth of our programs.  Our parishioners are involved in many ministries that serve our parish and the Quincy Community.
Options:
The children of Blessed Sacrament Parish are encouraged to enroll in the parish elementary school which currently supports 192 students.  For the children who attend the public Schools, we have our Parish School of Religion (PSR).  These classes meet on Monday Evenings during the school year.  70 students are enrolled in these classes.
